Jamie Crawford EP Launch at The Troubadour
This Thursday, 3rd July, sees Jamie Crawford (music) launch their latest EP into the world. Hosted by The Troubadour the evening will be a bluesy, jangly, rootsy affair with friends of the band – Blank Bibles, Joe Taylor and Cazzie Winterton – filling up the support slots. The line up will kick off at 7.30pm.

Solidarity Sports Concert Fundraiser
What are you doing this Saturday? Not sure? Let me point you in a the direction of a very worthy cause; Solidarity Sports. This is a small charity with a big heart. It helps the under the radar children in our neighbourhood to feel worthwhile, including those are suffering severe child trauma.
There is a Solidarity Sports fundraiser on the 21st June from 5.00 – 7.00pm at St Cuthbert with St Matthias Church in Philbeach Gardens. It should be quite an event. The famous Rock Choir, plus other acts/presentations will be fun and touching. There is a silent auction with amazing prizes. Shakespeare in the Square: Twelfth Night
The Earls Courtiers are proud to bring back ‘Shakespeare in the Square’ for the second year running.
This year they will be performing the Bard’s classic comedy Twelfth Night and will be in Barkston Gardens on the 26th, 27th and 28th June. Shows start at 7pm.

On the 27th and 28th June, there will also be a Children’s performance of Charles Perrault’s Blue Beard from 6pm to 6.30pm put on by Marianne Badrichani and Laure Fretigne’s Earls Court Drama Workshop.
Ticket details: £10 and include an Illyrian Buffet and a Free Drink.
Proceeds will go to the St Cuthberts Church Restoration Fund, a beautiful local church in Philbeach Gardens. Admittance is Free for Blue Beard but any donations given at the end of the performance would be more than welcome!
Stand Up at The Finborough Arms
Twice As Nice Comedy has proudly joined forces with the Finborough Arms pub to present the inaugural stand-up comedy night in their atmospheric cellar bar. Promising to be an entertainment-packed affair the evening will offer up some top name comics and circuit regulars.
John Robins: In 2006 he moved into the now legendary ‘Bristol Comedy Flat’ with Russell Howard, Jon Richardson and Mark Olver. John has written radio comedy for ‘The News Quiz’ (BBC Radio 4), appeared on ‘Word of Mouth’ (BBC Radio 4), The Tom Craine Show (BBC Radio Bristol), The Matt Forde Show (Talksport), Drive Time (BBC Radio 5Live) and BBC Radio Wales’ topical news show ‘What’s The Story?’. In 2011 he performed stand-up on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3) and appeared on Sarah Millican’s episode of ‘Celebrity Deal Or No Deal’ (Channel 4)
Henry Paker: started stand-up January 2006, and in 2008, he won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year title and came second in the Laughing Horse new act competition. Appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News
