The Bolton Earls Court Life

The Bolton Pub – Earls Court Life

O’Neills has had a Christmas makeover and has re-emerged as the brand new and very spiffy looking Bolton. It’s a fine addition to the public houses in Earls Court and the addition of an extended burger menu could not go without mention. A three-cheese burger you say? Don’t mind if I do. Or maybe I should just slather a classic with some bacon jam? Pork & chorizo burger with pig’s cheek & pickle mayo! West Country beef, smoked bacon, dolcelatte cheese & avocado!

It is all looking rather positive at first glance.

Ever since Langan’s closed it’s doors I have been missing a good Sunday Roast and The Bolton claims to have filled the gap with their Sunday Best. I’ve been longing for somewhere close by to take care of me on a wintery Sunday, a day where you need mountainous Yorkshire puds, goose-fat potatoes and no washing up. A well-crafted pint and a board game or two and I’m yours. Or theirs. Or there. Yes, I’m there.

Along with the Sunday Roasts there are some weekday standards; Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash. But also a few unexpected but none-the-less comforting dishes like Mushrooms on Toast and Slow cooked BBQ beef short rib.

Desserts look to be dangerous, Chocolate praline profiteroles, Salted caramel & chocolate cheesecake, Sticky toffee pudding. If these are made in-house then we are in for some very sweet treats indeed.

They are taking bookings for Christmas Day so if you find yourself still searching for a spot nearby The Bolton may just have you covered.
