Brand New: The Bottlery

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Finally, a wine bar in Earls Court. I must say that since we lost Balans it has been hard to find a place to simply sit and enjoy a really great glass of wine. Without feeling like you have to also order a meal, I mean. Don’t get me wrong, I love all our pubs with all their beery goodness and we have some cracking little cocktail gems as well but dammit, I want a place where wine is the hero and The Bottlery have answered my call.

The Bottlery have opened where Café Pascucci once stood and boy have they done a number on the interior. It looks really great and is the kind of venue that is going to work across all seasons.

Exposed brick teamed with wood panelling that houses bottles and bottles and bottles and more. Very high ceilings and wide open windows gives a light and airy feel to the place and is a perfect spot to enjoy an ice cold bottle of Pouilly Fumé on a hot summer’s day – providing we actually get one or two this year. But fear not, if it stays rainy and miserable then there’s an open fireplace and lovely bottle of Margaux to keep you toasty.

The staff here are incredibly welcoming and kind so you’ll feel at home as soon as you arrive . Call up and ask for Jon, he’s in charge and will take very good care of you. All in all a great addition to the main drag. More of this please!!
