Meet the Brewer at Finborough Arms – Earls Court Life
On Wednesday the 19th November the fine folks at The Finborough Arms in Earls Court will be hosting a very special evening of beer tasting with a difference. Punters will have a chance to ‘Meet the Brewer’, and in this case the brewer is none other than Agostino Arioli.
Arioli is a legend in Italian craft brewing circles. He started his brewery 17 years ago, long before the independent brewery scene in the country developed. His brewpub, Birrificio Italiano, in Lurago Marinone (a suburban area of Como) produced over 700 hl of craft brewed lagers for his packed brewpub last year.
On the 19th he will present six of his beers on tap – Tipopils, a dark beer, a saison, a wheat beer, a bock and an “imperial pils” – matched with cheeses of his choosing. The pub opens (as usual on a weekday) at 5pm with all the beers on tap at £4.90 each. Cheese will be complimentary. Agostino will speak at 7.45pm.The Finborough Arms A revived Victorian pub serving twelve great beers and ciders on tap. The Finborough was built in 1868 as part of the Earl’s Court development and has been a landmark ever since. London’s leading off-West End theatre is housed in the pub’s former function room upstairs. We show live sport on our big screen and are subscribers to both Sky Sports and BT Sports so you won’t miss any of the action at the Finborough. 118 Finborough Road
